Testing spam risk

When Bloglines recently launched the email to feed functionality, I created an email address and posted it in my blog. I did that because I have always wondered if it really is a big issue to write your email address on a website.

So what's the result? Well I posted the address Wednesday before lunch and I received the first spam mail 6 hours later. Today I received my second spam mail. So now you might say that receiving two spam mails is not a lot, but remember that this address has only been posted in my blog and it has only been up for three days. I'll keep the address and see what happens.

Since realistically you would probably write your email address more than once, I'll post it here again:
